The Gîte de Gustou, located in Ercé in the Ariège Pyrenees Natural Park, is easily accessible from Toulouse or Carcassonne. A car is essential to explore the mountains, valleys, and the many outdoor activities of the region.
For your GPS, simply enter: “GUSTOU ERCE 09140”.
(120 km – about 1h30) Take the southern ring road and exit at junction 25 towards Tarbes. Continue on the A64 motorway for 60 km to exit n°20 (⚠️ speed camera between exits 21 and 20 – limit 130 km/h). Then follow the direction Saint-Girons for 28 km.
From Saint-Girons, follow the road signs to Guzet Ski Resort – Seix – Oust. In Oust, take the direction Ercé (24 km). Upon entering Ercé, you will see a small grocery store on the right. 100 m further, turn left toward Hameau de Cominac.
Drive up to the church, continue for about 1 km, and after two hairpin bends, you will see two large trash containers.
Take the road marked “gîte rural”. Pass the Souleilo and Pelioou entrances. Continue straight until you reach the entrance of La Grange de Gustou, just after the gate with two black pivot rods.
